[Surely, Luceti, you were not prepared for the loud, robotic voice blaring over the journals with no warning. Nor the fact that in the video feed, he is reflecting a bright light off of his face.

He might be doing the reflection portion on purpose.]
I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ALL OF YOU DEFECTIVE BEINGS. THINK LONG AND HARD, AND GIVE ME AN HONEST ANSWER. BECAUSE I'LL BECOME THE HUMAN EQUIVALENT OF PISSED OFF IF I GET A FAKE ANSWER. REALLY ANGRY.

WHICH OF YOU THINK YOU ARE SUPERIOR THAN ME?
[Pause.] BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT.

[It's almost like a rhetorical question. This is definitely an informative PSA brought to you by Robo-Ky.]

That's amazing.. I didn't know who the most superior being in this place was, but I know now. [ She sounds pretty amazed by this. ]

It's very nice to meet you, superior being-san.

Nice to meet you, Robo-Ky-kun. [ she sounds like a robot either way with the way she almost mechanically repeats her introduction over and over again.. ] My name is Kotomi Ichinose. You spell Kotomi with three wonderful hiragana. I'm a senior from class A, and my hobby is reading. When referring to me, please call me 'Kotomi-chan'.

Class A is the class I'm in back home. As opposed to class B, or class C, or any of the other classes.. [ she's good at being captain obvious. ]
etudes: (she doesn't wanna feel this way)

[ Well, Kotomi is the genius of the school, but.. ]

No, they're just seperated that way since they have much too many students to put all of them in one class together.

What is so inefficient about that, Robo-Ky-kun?

That's not true. In this case, seperation is pretty useful, since teachers would not be able to control classes with many more teenagers. Furthermore, in this kind of scenario there is plenty of attention for every individual, so they have a chance to ask questions if needed without interrupting the class itself for too long.

[ She's saying it in a blank, near-monotonous voice, as if she's reading it from a book. ]

[ the closest thing he'll find to a fellow robot, really.. ]

Why does it sound like a waste of time? It's been scientifically proven this is the most efficient way of education in which the students absorb the most information.

[ It's a good thing Kotomi doesn't really argue or think like normal people do either.. ]

Why does it sound like a waste of time to you?
etudes: (but no one has ever bothered)

Of course. After all, the right to freedom of expression is recognized as a human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). Article 19 of the ICCPR states that "everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference" and "everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice". Article 19 goes on to say that the exercise of these rights carries "special duties and responsibilities" and may "therefore be subject to certain restrictions" when necessary "for respect of the rights or reputation of others" or "for the protection of national security or of public order (order public), or of public health or morals".

[ ... yup. ]

Of course I'm human. Why are you asking..?

[ It's okay, Kotomi is a very special unique genius case.. ]

I just do. Are you saying you don't remember everything you read in books..?
etudes: (to tell her that's okay)

[personal profile] etudes 2012-02-17 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
But I do can do it, and I think I'm human.. Then.. what does that make me..? [ she actually does sound a little confused - she's gullible enough to believe his every word as long as she hasn't read the contrary somewhere. ]
